#1: It's Arrested Development.
What a crazy couple of days. And of course I really mean Crazy Boring. Been spending an inordinate amount of time working on the play, so that's been taking a lot of my time since Sunday. I was getting kinda depressed earlier today, and then I got into this drama thing, basically just working on my project, and that sorta lifted me up -- or at least took my mind off of how depressed I was. And so I was feeling good for the rest of today. The rest of the day, that is, until I got home and started watching election coverage. And then I started thinking about the possibility - the quite strong possibility - of 4 more years of George W. Bush. It's so depressing. To compound that, I learned that my colleague, Craig Reade (whose site, Still on the Shelf, is quite good,) is a Bush supporter. But I forgive him, befcause he lives in California, the seminal Democrat state, with an unrivaled 55 electoral votes just waiting to be handed to Kerry... so maybe he was voting Bush just to be different, knowing that his vote wouldn't make a difference.
So with the play to further distract me, the real depression didn't quite set in until now. I talked a bit with Coral today on AIM, reminding me of how cool she is, and how much I miss her being around. I also bit my cheek while chewing gum, and now it's iritable. And as days go by, I'm getting more and more mired in my own depression and loneliness. Why am I so consumed by my own pathos?
I'm a weird guy.
And apart from this sentence, this entry contains no references to Angela and Jess, simply because nothing interesting happened with them today. Even so, I made a promise and damnit, I intend to keep it.
Keep on Rockin'
