F: No longer human

I must be a glutton for punishment.

I got ill pulling a risky (and by risky, I mean simply foolish) stunt biking home from the GO station Thursday night. I woke up Friday morning and my nose was running like a faucet. I've seen fit to take the appropriate measures, mixing ColdFX (which I believe in) and day/night cold pills so I don't really know where the wellness is coming from and to what degree it will be permanent.

Add to that mix the fact that, when sick, I tend to go about my business as much as I can to the degree that I had a beer last night, and am indulging in caffeine, which I inevitably will be combining with some nighttime cold pills which I should be careful about, since I think that's what killed Heath Ledger (it's not.)

Speaking of the late Ledger, I saw the trailer for the new Terry Gilliam movie he was shooting when he died. His role was reconfigured to where he transforms repeatedly throughout the film into Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell. How, I asked my brother, can one man be Australian, American, British and Irish?? How! His answer, of course, "In this day and age, how can he not?" true enough, even if he had no idea what I was talking about when I said it, as I hadn't referenced the film to him yet and simply began the conversation with that question. Though he was the one who showed it to me. Anyway it looks cool.

Well, it was a lonely, quiet, sniffling, headachey Saturday night. I got some work done, but the whole "being sick/pretending not to be sick/watching Scrubs" thing got in the way. Finished off a page, though so... go me? Arg. Once again I'm my own enemy.

Seems as though I'll have a number of these Saturday nights ahead of me. It will either be terrifically productive, or crushingly depressing. Could be both. We'll see! Won't that be fun?

I do my best. Anyhow.

Keep on rockin'
-Scotto
