Treize: Living after Midnight

It's really discomforting to me that, after over a month of complete inactivity, I've been getting really busy lately. It's out of control.

I got up and went out to Coffee Time today at 11 to meet with this guy, Soheil, basically jsut to tell him I wasn't gonna be his fundraising stooge. Okay, I wasn't so harsh about it, but looking at the other people who were there, I think I made the right call. Especially since I legitimately will be employed by the bowling alley this time next week (if all goes as planned.)

I got my Sheridan timetable today. Let me lament the fact that I was not granted a day off during the week, as Kris was, instead I only had one day during which I have only one class. Every day but Tuesday has 2 classes, although one of the ones on Friday will only last to midterm, so I've got that going for me. Still, I'm gonna be a busy fuckin' guy. Still, it is "subject to change," although it doesn't seem like any of that is going to change any time soon.

Also today, I learned that I'm eligible for a pretty hefty QEII Scholarship, so I'm excited about that.

The movie's falling into place. The universe is churning its gears and straining its cogs, but everything is in motion.

Soon I'm going to have to face the concept of college enrollment. I thought a bit about it today but I'd rather not write here about it, since I don't feel like I've got enough perspective to really say anything good. It's just weird.

I was walking by the school today, around the back as I would on my way to my Grandma's (or in this case, on the way back,) when who should I see but Rosser. Boy, that was awkward, facing the fact that I no longer belong to that world. So we chatted a bit, then he had to get back to work on his lights or whatever he had going on.

Someday, I'll be able to relax.

Doesn't look like that day will be soon, but what I've got is at least a relieved type of weariness. Things might not be so complicated-seeming if I weren't getting that job at Classic Bowl, but I'd be out the money. And the money sounds mighty appetizing.

Keep on rockin'
