2B: Falling back down to Earth
I slept way in this morning. It was weird. I woke up at after 9, 10, 11, and 12 I think, ultimately waking up on that las ttime, and had several distinctly bizarre dreams. One, a guy was chasing me, probably to kill me, telling me I couldn't wake up. How freaky is that, that the guy in my dream was attacking me and telling me I wasn't going to wake up? So a weapon materialized in my hand... a bent stuck used at the bowling alley to put up bumpers. Then I woke up. Another dream concerned my cousin and I giving christmas gifts, and the third I remembered was about going to see a friend at univeristy (not saying who, but you probably don't know him,) and then getting called to go arrest a bunch of people for the oddest reasons... the only one I remember being that they were snowboarding over jumps with stuff attached to the bottoms of their snowboards, and the stuff (letters or some kind... as in "A" "S" "G" "T" etc.) were falling off and hitting people.
So I wasted half my day asleep, and now Kyle's on his way over to deliver the rest of the movie on his external harddrive.
I'm going to admit to this: I find most dance music to be creepy and ominous-sounding. It's something that I learned years ago dring a school dance. It was the first time I ever heard "In Da Club" and I thought "this music is terrifying." Or... not.
I've been so lazy today. Between sleeping away the afternoon, writing half a post and then coming back to it (it's about 11:57 at night now) and being addicted to WWE Smackdown vs. Raw '06 for PS2, it'd be a wonder if I edited more than one scene before I go to work tomorrow. I'm thinking of staying up late and taking care of that.
Last night at work was... well, as good as it gets. The thing was I had to deal with a lot of "oh you're quitting?" from co-workers, since the schedule for next week was put up. I was getting really tired of explaining myself. It was Feria the barmaid who said something that really made my night, by essentially telling me they'd miss me... but I was doing the right thing. That made me feel so much better.
And I said goodbye to the girls of the tuesday night classics league. It was always nice to see them even if we never talked.
Ecch... my brain feels like mud right about now, so I'm gonna halt this blog and write a better one tomorrow... or later than that.
Keep on rockin;
-Scotto
