x8: I Voted for Kodos

I'm going to make this quick. My fingers are tired of typing tonight.

It was a busy day. Everyone was crammed into the law classroom for Stephen Douglas' big midterm, for which he insisted on combining all of us into one superclass. Everyone was a little warped today, since nobody had studied or really mentally prepared. Douglas, it is generally agreed, hasn't given us much direction in the way of what we ought to be doing. So we were in two camps... those who were deeply concerned with getting caught up, and those who were laid back and didn't care. For the most part, I was in the latter, with Amanda and Jessica. I gave some aid to those who wanted and needed it, but generally my study method was to read the first page of every chapter we were supposed to.

And then I went in and did it. Ah... yep.

On my way home... not the real time but in the middle of the day, I was going by White Oaks and actually ran into Ms. Wilson. Unbelievable! I haven't seen her since... March 2005? Like, halfway through my 2nd semester of grade 12 when she, you know... gave birth or whatever. So we caught up and reminisced and that made my day. Wilson was one of my very favouritest teachers, one of the few I had more than once, and probably the only I had for more than one subject.

I've been very driven to get back to being Scott Williams lately. I figure that I spent a lot of October and November being a bummer, it's time to remember what made Williams so Williams. It's important to keep on that line between outgoing and creepy. Oh, and you want to be on the "outgoing" side, obviously. I think you all know what I mean.

Oh, and I voted today. Of course, not particularly taking my time to get informed, I really more did my part to obstruct democracy. But if we end up in a state of disarray, don't blame me... I voted for Kodos.*

(*ah, old Simpsons episodes. How perfect a reference.)

So that'll be it for tonight. I'm gonna go rest up. Plenty to do tomorrow.

Keep on rockin'
-Scott
