XV: Nothing you can't believe

Nothing too substantial today, I don't think. It was one of those days full of Gyro's-eating and poop up-picking.

The climate of the basement, at the end of the occupation of the dogs, was getting disgusting. Flies ran rampant all over our place. I decided to go Rambo-style with the insecticide and kill those bastards. I made my stand and it was quite successful.

Xena at last went home today. It was a sweet parting, although moments after leaving, Grandma phoned and asked if she'd been fed (she had, and walked,) because she was barking uncontrollably. Oh Xe, so predictably annoying.

I think my mind is going. I'll be walking down the street, typically absorbed in my own idle wonderings, when I'll just lose my train of thought and completely be unable to regain it. Ultimately, I'll spend more time wonderign what the hell I was thinking about just then than I actually would have. And I'll say the wrong name in a conversation and not notice. My brain is definitely going to mush. And the world is a cold, lonely abyss... despite being scorchingly hot and overpopulated, and most definitely full of matter.

See, my life lacks structure, and this is the price I'm paying. My latest posts have hardly been masterpieces - not only is life achingly dull, but my brain is like the innarts of a tomato.

I wonder if maybe the reason I haven't been hired someplace is that my potential employers stumble across this little corner of the web (it is, after all, the bmost popular site on the internet, as you all already know,) and think, "God this kid is full of himself/crap/both/other... why should I hire him?" Either that or it's a competitive job market and I have little qualifications and an ex-employer who may be bitter about my acromonious parting with them, and this blog has nothing to do with it.

Life ain't bad, but it can always be better.

Keep on rockin'
-Scott
