IV: Correct my flaws
Not having a terrific day. I'm being kinda fussy and fidgety and letting every minor discomfort get to me, bother me, irritate the hell out of me.
It's not often I'll admit to "getting up on the wrong side of the bed." I like to think that every day can be approacked freshly and full of potential. Unfortunately, today began with an insistent, annoying fucking scratching at my door from that effing dog, Dolby, before 7 AM. Suddenly everything's on my nerves when I schlep my way out of bed. I could go off on the list of little things that pissed me off, but most of it is trivial bullshit.
But my allergies are pretty bad today, and that's annoying since I've been taking these pills that ought to tackle that. If my system s starting to build up some kind of resistence I might as well end it all right there because that was my last line of defense. That's all I had.
I just wanted to check in and say that. I want to rest. What a miserable day. I'm too annoyed to even describe what's so annoying. Grrrrrr.
Originally, the post ended there. I feel you deserve better, even though I still can't bring myself to ontinue. I can't stress enough how all these little things - people being around the house, the smell of the basement, etc etc, is just ticking me off today. I'm just a miser. Maybe it's the mounting frustation over the stasis of my life.
Rock Star: Supernova provided some entertainment, though. In addition to some decent singing, they have a prerequisite amount of foxy lady-rockers, and, this being rock, they feel compelled to dress much more sexily. You know, it's fun for the whole family.
Ah, how life could be better. I've got to work through this. Somehow.
Keep on rockin'
-Scott
